DCPL National Mall Qualifier Challenge
Join us on Saturday, September 13 at the Anacostia Park Outdoor Courts for the DC Pickleball League’s (DCPL) late summer tournament in collaboration with Washington DC Pickleball Club. This is a team-entry doubles event — bring your own partner. Mixed or same-gender teams welcome. All players are guaranteed a minimum of 4 games in our round-robin pool plus playoff format.
Format:
Teams in each division will be seeded and separated into 2-4 pools for round-robin play (see details for specific divisions below). The top teams in each round-robin pool will advance to a playoff round to determine the overall winners in each division. Teams in round-robin pools will be ranked according to standard USAP round-robin criteria: number of overall wins, head-to-head wins, overall point differential, then head-to-head point differential.
Prizes:
- Advanced Beginner to Low Intermediate bracket winners receive Engage paddles.
- Intermediate bracket winners qualify to represent DCPL at the the DMV Invitational Tournament (Sept. 19) at the National Mall of Pickleball 2025.
- Advanced bracket players compete for a cash prize purse.
Free pizza will be provided for all participants courtesy of Wishing Wellness DC.
